Mick says:” Shawn, the clown had his mask already many years. He put on the mask when we played live. That was really funny. You know, how it go on. All members of the band started to put on their own masks. The mask change you. You can be behind the mask a other person. We took this chance and were crazy guys. That function.”

Joey says:” We wear this clothes to try something different and fascinate the humans. We did it also because of the fact, that our music was not very popular in our home down. Behind the masks we can hide us. Nobody was interested in the masks. The faces were not longer important, only the music was in the foreground. We just wore the masks, and the people liked it. It seems to became a great thing!”

Shawn says:” We don’t want to make this Kiss stuff again. The reason why we make it is, that nobody should know our real faces. But I’m married and have 3 children. I’m not on an ego-trip. I’m just here to play good music. And when the fans see me and recognize me, I’ll give autographs all over the day. It doesn’t matter how my hair looks or something it that way. And when you´ll understand once a day, that the masks are a part of us, then you think on the whole band and on the music. The work is you can say completed.”

No. Mick says:” That should not be a great disaster. We only use those, which fit for the song. If there is a song in that Chris and Shawn not fit, then they don’t play the song.

Mushroomhead
Mushroomhead is a underground metal band form Cleveland. They wear also masks. They got a contract at Roadrunnerrecrods a few years before Slipknot. Mushroomhead say, that Slipknot has stolen the idea with the masks form them. Slipknot didn’t know anything about Mushroomhead at this time. The members didn’t know, that there exists a Band called Mushroomhead

Joey use this word for all Slipknot Fans. Maggots like the music of Slipknot.

Corey know how to play drums, but after he heart the CD “Bleach” from Nirvana and “Screaming Life” form Soundgarden he decided to sing.

The members of Slipknot saw a crazy porno in which a woman shits one on the head. They cry:” I believe, that’s not pudding”. One of them must hand itself over, and the others laugh at him.

“Eeyore” is the hidden track at the end of “Despise”. The story is about a guy, witch looks like Thor, and Corey hates him, because he punches women.

There is a little war between Korn and Slipknot. Some band members of the two bands like themselves not. Details are not available.
